It was an eventful October for us here at Underground Oracle, and it looks like we'll be powering through all the way into the New Year, so buckle up, gird your loins, and read on to find out what's going down in The Underground.  

Kickstarter Projects and Launches

We recently added a page to the website that will serve as a hub showcasing our past, present, and upcoming Kickstarters. When you hit that page now, you'll see that we have a launch page up for both Cypher Dimensions and Foxfire. The logical question that provokes is, which one will be launched first? That wholly depends on when they hit their follower goals.

Like many things, crowdfunding has become more volatile lately compared to a few years ago, so we're doing our best to make it as stable as possible for our team and our backers and supporters. That means setting realistic funding goals and launching when it looks like we can hit them for large projects like these, rather than launching on a wing and a prayer with vanity goals that fund fast but won't actually bring the books to fruition. So for the foreseeable future, we'll be pushing the launch pages to hit those follower counts that indicate the project will be as amazing as we know it can be.

On the Tube

Friend of The Underground, ZealZaddy, kicked off an actual play mini-series set in Harrow: The Blighted Plane last week! Although it's not an official UO AP, our very own Kayla Bayens is playing one of the characters, and you can watch the VODs on the ZealZaddy YouTube channel here, or catch it live every other Monday on Twitch here.

October's Harvest

Last month, we released several new titles to the storefronts, the biggest and most beautiful being our first full-length TTRPG, Harrow: The Blighted Plane. We also released a slew of bonuses for our members and a free-to-read collection of horror encounters for Harrow, so it would have been easy not to catch everything that dropped.
